For most of its history, Magic Kingdom did not serve alcohol at all. That was intentional, and it was Walts position. The park opened in 1971 as a place where the rules were different from the rest of the world, and no alcohol was part of that identity . For decades, if you wanted a drink at Walt Disney World, you went to EPCOT , Animal Kingdom , Hollywood Studios , a resort, or Disney Springs ....
